Mine was made in 1990. No custom shop logo or neck plate either.

That would be consistent with what I thought. Yours has the ESP logo at the tip? and the pic of the Kamikaze. Very nice.

D.M. What do you think is a good price on this one in excellent condition? Anyone?

          Re: ESP Kamikaze

to be honest i wouldn't know...but ebay would be a good gauge...add in the fact that the ltd kami's go for decent money (whereas yours is a real esp)and you have one with a rare maple neck...i owuld think...maybe 800+?...d.m.

            Re: ESP Kamikaze

even ebay is unpredictable. I have seen some kamis go for $1200 plus to as little as $600 for real ESPs. I would guess with the maple neck and in great shape yours would probably pull $850 to maybe as high as $1500 maybe.

                  Re: ESP Kamikaze

I would have to agree with mudkicker. The market for these (as well as most shred guitars) is pretty up and down. I think I bought mine used, in MINT, unplayed condition for $600 and that was back when these were really in. I see them all over but I think the above assessments are accurate.

                    Re: ESP Kamikaze

I had one in the same color but no picture on it.Ebony board with the light tan logo on the tip of the headstock.
The trem was a sinclair ( like in the pics posted)not an OFR.Mine had a neckplate with ESP something something New York on it.I think the ser# was stamped on the back of the headstock IIRC.Yes it was nice but REALLY heavy.

Mine is not that heavy. I know some of them are all maple and those are generally heavy, but weren't they made with basswood at one point?

The neck was not as wide as the LTD IV I had. It was more like a 90s Jackson pro neck. The necks really vary in size on the Kamies JMO
