I like that one! Funny, I've never seen a used Vandy in this area (Washington DC) that wasn't beat to hell, or I might have picked one up by now. Did this guitar just attract abusive owners?

Even the beat ones might be ok, except that they have the funky Kahler trem that would be difficult to restore.

Also, were the headstocks really weak? I see a lot of them with repairs in that area.
