I think you were making fun of girl players but after thinking about it I guess you were paying a compliment to female guitar players. [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img] Rickenbackers are great. Especially if you like REALLY narrow necks and the lightest action possible. There is nothing quite like a Mapleglo or Fireglo 360V64 or 360V64-12.

I thought about trying to make that guitar in paint, but it's looking like quite the task! I'll take it up at my friend's house, whom owns a decent photoshop editor program. I can't promise anything, but I'll see what I can do about making our very own, custom built, POFS guitar.

We got this weird thing in the other day called a tenor guitar, made by Martin. It is like a huge ukelele, or a smaller guitar with 4 strings made of nylon.

I actually prefer smaller inlays. Most large inlays look like crap to me. Of course, in using smaller inlays I'd like the company to price the guitar accordingly.

I agree on the issue of a $30 gig bag for a $1000 guitar.

I would say that in most cases it IS true, hence some listing Kahlers as a bad idea while others reply that they like them. Another example would be Tim saying "36 frets. Get a mandolin". I would say, "36 frets! A guitar with a built-in mandolin that I don't have to
learn a different tuning, chords and scales to play!". Also, most mandolins don't get a great distortion sound, like Uli's 36 fret Sky guitar does!

So a person's concept of good or bad idea depends on whether they personally like it.
