Chuck I just think it is funny how we move these guitars around the family. I missed out on this one on Harmony and then you tossed it Johns way. Now that I see the neck, I do not think I can call John for a while.

Hey, is that a "fixed" bridge? I guess Jake did not have a Floyd on his white guitar? Nice find!

[/ QUOTE ]It's a hardtail. Jake didn't have a Floyd on any of his guitars... he didn't like any trem systems. You been living under a rock??

                  Re: GMW Jake Lee

So this guitar already has a bunch of dibs on it and it seems that it should flow through Fritz...hahaha....

Actually...GMW did make these with a Floyd too. The specs were white with a rosewood neck and floyd or hardtail. I am glad someone ordered this one with an ebony neck and hardtail... and a nice figured neck at that.

I think the Jake guitars are the best. I love mine and I'm thinking of getting another.

Toejam, Yea, I've been asleep for a long time. I looked at it and thought where's the Floyd, since I've seen so many of them lately. Then finally, I checked and Jake didn't use a Whammy! Well my Jake (under-construction) will have a "Hipshot" Brass hardtail in black, with a Birdeye maple neck and rosewood fretboard. Those Hipshot's are really nice.
