Very impressed by this GMW

As Lerx has so kindly pointed out, I am no expert, but in comparing playability, fit, finish, acoustic sound, etc...I am blown away by Lee's work. Just incredible. I personally think I stole this at $1200, and it sounds Phat plugged in. BTW, mint, not a scratch on it. Pickup is a SD Custom 5, and he had the neck oiled by Lee when he bought it. A very nice addition to the family.

Sweet! Lee does awesome work, I need a custom order from him just like Montes Maple Quilt.
How's the neck feel on this one?
BTW, I think you killed at $1,200.00. If you don't end up keeping this watch how fast you move it at that price.

Shawn, I want to apologize for jumping your case on that other thread. I was real upset over you calling Drsracing a racist, and that was something that had been in my head from the dodgy-Wayne-quality thread a few days before - something that one of your congratulators on THIS thread actually PMed me about. Still, I overreacted and apologize. I'd say you're uindergoing an intensive crash course with all the guitars you've been acquiring. Hell, if you've been p[laying them half as much as you've been buying them you've probably made up for 10 years' practrice time.

No big deal Lerx, everybody knows I am a relative newbie to playing guitar. But between playing at least 2 hours a nite for 3 years, probably seven days a week, and having an instructor to my house every two weeks, I have certainly made great strides. As far as receiving a pm from someone in this thread, lets just say my spidey sense is alot stronger than my guitar playing.

I dont have any false expectations from anyone here as far as friendship, I just go with the flow. I have learned a TON about the guitars that I always wanted to play , had I been a guitarist during my drumming days, and for that, I am thankful.

That is pretty cool (and I was never a big fan of the red stripped EVH guitars). Congrats.
