Re: My Holy Grail Steinberger Arrives

Hey, I had a spirit (Still do) and it's not as bad as an indian Jackson. Not as nice as a good japanese charvel, but still, it's not bad.

True. Dude above was talking about a Spirit - those are pure crap.

That's a pretty strong statement. I've played a bunch of these over the years and I'd have to disagree. They are in the same league as a lot of import guitars. I've definitely played import Jacksons that weren't as good. I've not played a recent MusicYo model though so maybe those aren't so good.
I want REAL change. I want dead bodies littering the capitol.

The Spirits are ok, but nowhere near the quality of the original USA Steinbergers. I haven't played any of the new MusicYo 'real' Steinbergers w/graphite neck and transtrem etc. I wonder how they compare to the originals?

Brett, what pickups are those on the 6-string neck?

Nice. How does it play Brett? That is a rare as hell guitar for sure. I have only seen one other and it was a picture of one. Congrats.

Those are Seymours in the 6 string neck (stock, of course) and EMGs on the 12 string.

It plays really well. I have that doubleneck Jackson that's a tank and I never play it - it must weigh 25 pounds. This one is about 14 pounds and is a great playing guitar...but honestly I'm just putting it in the closet as a collector piece.
