        Re: my fave mutt

damn some very cool guitars here. mutts are great usually the best players too, or at least to thier owner since its there own creation. i dont have any mutts yet but that will change as soon as i can get some $. ive got a BCR custom ST-3 body that needs a neck & a SD era Jackson neck that needs a body. I also cant make up my mind on what exactly i want. the jackson neck is going on a star or explorer.

          Re: my fave mutt

Ok, I have a 'few', but here's one I am working on this weekend...not quite finished yet. Trans white JRS2 body with a wilk and a Duncan JB bonded with a Stealth pro neck with a floyd nut...the lockdowns are off. This thing stays in tune with no issues..I prefer it over my floyds and kahlers. The playability? it rips.

            Re: my fave mutt

looks really nice CG. I love off center dots. looks really classy especially with the transparent finishes.

I have a few more I am working on too. BCR stuff... I will take a pic of another fender with a warmoth neck on it and post that one soon too.

              Re: my fave mutt

My mutts are a Charvel 475DLX and a Model 3, both in blue. They look like the originals, I didn't mix parts from different models, just from different guitars.

                Re: my fave mutt

Thanks, there are far nicer mutts in the section but I am really blown away by this Wilk staying in tune like it does. I threw the lockdowns on it and it is just impressively stable.

What the heck: SD 5454 with Jackson replacement neck as received from Bloodsplatter:

My current beater (but still a great playing/sounding guitar - Thanks Chuck!).

That is nice, simple, clean, basic RnR machine. Looks like a sweet player.

Thanks Charvelguy. It is a great player. Action is low and the tone is very nice. Definatly a keeper!

I am glad you kept the neck and body together...I had put a little work into getting that strat back together before selling it to Jim.
