How so cheap? SX and Agile

Check these out. I've heard good things about both Agile and SX guitars, and they really seem too good to be true for the unbelievably low prices. In what third world country are they made?

I was going to get myself one of those Washburn 7-strings, but I'm serious thinking of one of these instead.

There is no middle man so the prices can be low.

Labor and material costs are much lower in China, where the SXs are made, and Korea, where the Agiles are made. Of course they are using much cheaper hardware and electronics, and the grade of woods used is not as high as that of guitars made in Japan or the USA. I don't really like the new Ghost much, the SX actually looks nicer, though I'm sure the Agile is better made.

I'm no longer tempted to get an Agile Ghost like I was when they were close copies of the Explorer. Those were cool, this one looks goofy to me.

The Ghost II kinda looks like ESP's EX body shape, sort of a curved pointy Explorer.

SX and Agile are so afraid of Gibson, they have ruined their cool copies of the real thing, kind of a shame. Jack.

I like them both, especially the SX. I think it's a fresh interpretation of the Explorer theme, without getting goofy.

I'm torn. I like the look of the SX better, but hate the pickguard on the black one. The Agile on the other hand, is available in black, and has a bound neck (black binding I assume).

Maybe I'll get the SX in trans-wine finish. Mmmm!

Well, I ordered a black SX GG2. I'm not a fan of pickguards, but I really wanted this in black, and it doesn't look too bad.



I'll give my review in a couple of weeks!

I'm thinking that SX was restyled to loosely resemble one of Paul Stanley's abortions. As for the Ghost II.....ugly piece of sh|t now (IMO)
