Congrats. I had a blue one with maple board for about 5 months but couldn't get totally comfortable with the scalloping. data187 - power/barre chords are ok but open chords were a pain. It's great for bends and vibrato though.

Hehhe, Its actually been a LONG time since Ive afforded myself a new guitar purchase... So its pretty dang cool.

Plus this is the only Fender in my collection. What better than an obnoxious Malmsteen strat [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img]

I will say Id really like to mod it with a floyd and would really like a 22 fret neck on it but I can live with it.

Im not too keen on the p guard so If I dont like the SC in the bridge pos I may throw in a HB and replace the p guard.
But thats for much later....
Im still itching to play it!
