Hello

I'm trying to get ahold of a Washburn Dime 3 Dimeslime guitar, this company might have one, so I go to order the guitar off www.customshopguitars.com and I get so far and I input my credit card info and then I get an error saying the order can't be placed, then I try calling them and both thier phone numbers are out of order??? what's teh deal, I hope I didn't just give them access to my damn credit card number? anyone else deal with this company?

I'm guessing that their server for receiving orders and their phone lines are tied together and there's trouble with their lines. I would keep trying to call them until you get to talk to a warm body before trying to place the order again.

that's a good idea and I'll do so, I can't even place an order the system just says "error placing order, click here to go back"

I called visa and they said don't worry about it, if they screw you your all set, not thier wording but you get the idea

There's a USA Dimebolt on Ebay right now. There was a USA Dimeslime on last week. Just keep your eyes open, there's plenty of them around.

Try finding a ESP Kerry King! Now that's a wild goose chase!

Believe me, you will not find one for cheap price like it use dto be.
I have been checking Dime guitars for last 4-5months every single day.
I even contacted a dealer and was thinking of placing an order on limited edition one in September but I didn't.
I passed maybe 30 USA Dime in the past 3months until Dime was killed because I didn't have the money to buy.
I even passed a mint USA Dimebolt that sold for $800 several weeks ago.

Music123 had both Dimeslime and Dimebolt for $1999 in stock and also several USA made Dime for $700-1000 on E-bay until the day Dime got killed.
Right next day, everything got sold and only you will find are import ones and Stealth for $1799 from Music123.
Still these are back ordered and delivery date is Feb.2005.

Everyone is doing the same thing.
People want these and these are the most wanted guitars at this time.

Spiral, exact same thing happened to me when I was going for a Southern Cross on that site. I just thought they weren't in business anymore but the website was still up. I was concerned about my credit card as well.

Like DJM, I had been wanting a USA Dime for a while and since he was going back to Dean, I figured I'd wait a bit and pick up a Washburn when the price came down. Obviously, you can't predict everything that is going to happen. [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]

I'm with you Hyper. I had my eye on a Southern Cross. Was just waiting to put funds together. Well since his death everyone wants one now. guitars they couldn't give away over the last few months are now selling for top dollar. Wait till the Dean's come out, those are going to be price gouged.

I've been doing the same thing DJM has been doing and all of yall, I've been trying to sell a BC Rich USA ignitor to get one of these Dime guitars

When the Washburn Dime 3 was initially offered I ordered 2 into my local music store, both came in and were selling at about 3K canadian at the time, and being a jackass student I could only afford 1 guitar, and opted for a new ibanez universe which was only 2000$, boy what a dumb ass I was, not only did I not EVER play that Ibanez guitar, but still don't...it's just too pretty for me, I'm too metal to hold that thing...
anyways I regret not getting one then, and now regret not getting one before dime was taken from us, but I'll pay what I can and get what I can....

I miss you Brother Dime!!

Spiral, good luck on getting one!
I guess I missed mine big time and I ended up going with a Seymour Duncan Dimebucker and put it in my guitar.
That was the cheapest way to get Dime's sound...at least it is something.

One day I wish to have one but it probably be the Dean and hope they could come up with the new ones.

I read an article where Boogie Street bought all the remaining Dime related stuff such as T-shirts from Washburn and starts selling soon.
Eric is a cool guy excepts his price is very high..
