Any experience with JC's Guitars?

Hello again!

It's been a few months, but I'm back, and with a question. In my searches for a halfway decent internet guitar dealer, I've come across JC's Guitars. What really attracts me to this site is his layway option, as my dad would be buying it for me, and with the bills and everything, he doesn't have say, 1000 bucks all at once to spend on a guitar.

JC's selection is pretty good, as I've seen at least 5 guitars within my price range that I''d love to own. So, what I'm asking is, has anyone had any dealings with this dude, and if so, how has it worked out for you?

Not bought from him yet, but he's always been pretty helpful and quick to respond to emails - his site hasn't been updated in an age though.....

i've dealt with him once.
his prices are a bit on the high side imo, but he is very good to deal with.
good communication, quick shipping, overall a smooth transaction.

i have dealt with Justin. 100% straight up guy every time. I would feel at ease making a recommendation to go with him. no problem.

justin's a very cool guy, and when i lived in the chicago area, i'd go visit him from time to time. the black fb2 that he has on his site was one that i traded him. priced a little high, but he'll give you a better deal on trades, which i think is kinda neat.

but if your main issue is layaway, both matt and scott can work with you.

I've talked to Matt before, absolutely a cool dude, but I was under impression it didn't work that way. I could be wrong, but... I'd rather not get credit or financing kind of stuff involved.

If I'm wrong, feel free to take a swing at me.
