I don't know alot about them but I heard Fender made a few for Clapton when he started his last tour. GC has the exclusive on this for 04 but I heard they would be sold through any dealer in 05. That being said I want this finish on a Rhoads!Comment

Is that the same stuff they sell at Michael's? It sure looks like it. You can spray clear coat over that and it should be fine. Hmm...I'm getting an idea...I want REAL change. I want dead bodies littering the capitol.

You can clear coat over it, but it would not look the same. Possibly by using a flat or semi-gloss (flatter the better)clear will help retain the wrought "Metal Look". If you ended up using a clear gloss, it would ended up looking like standard gold metallic paint.Tone is like Art: Your opinion is valid. Listen, learn, have fun, draw your own conclusions.Comment
