    help needed (again ) :smirk:

    I bought this ESP tele a few weeks ago in Japan (quite cheap)the thing is it was in a quite "happy" colour (pink)
    so I started to paint in immediately
    now I'm almost finished and I'm not quite sure I like it, now there are 3 options for me, remove the flames and retain a black background, keep the flames, start all over again

    Incredible work as ALWAYS Fred!!! [img]/images/graemlins/notworthy.gif[/img] My vote is to keep the flames. I am not sure why you don't like the way you've done it but I think it looks fantastic.

      the thing is that it looks ok up close, but from a distance it is to busy and with all the hardware attached it would look even busier
      (perhaps with the clearcoat it will improve somewhat and create more depth)

          For what it's worth, I think the flames clutter things up a bit too much, and I prefer it with just the girl: fantastic looking job though.....

              Well, you'll have to decide for yourself what you want to keep. But I think that looks really good, and I don't usually care for graphics.

                    thanks, I guess I'll will be waiting a few days longer before I decide what to do with it (I'm considering a white background instead of the black and flames to make it less cluttered)
