• Warmoth/GMW Warlock Mutt

Just finished this up tonight (almost). I just got this 5-way active circuit gizmo yesterday so I figured this would be a good guitar to try it on - either it doesn't work or I screwed up. And the damn push/push pot won't push in 95% of the time so I'm gonna need to replace that. I'll fool with it some more in a day or two. Also, I'm not happy with how I've got the humbucker mounted - I need to tweak it as well. Otherwise, it plays great and sounds really good.

Beautiful body.
You took too much, man. Too much. Too much.

Great body, love how you bolted the pickup into the body too! I always thought that body style lent itself to a Les Paul styled control layout but I like what you went with too.

With no neck PU I would have went with a 24 fret neck though.

Kinda odd seeing a warlock with a strathead , dunno if its ever been done before. I think i like it.

Different, but cool. I think a reverse headstock would look great. One thing I don't understand is why Warmoth makes the Warlock bodies shaped like a bass instead of the guitar. Nice color. Looks great with the maple board.

When I chose a Strathead, I was thinking along the lines of this:

The control layout was not planned. I just eyeballed where I wanted the volume pot to go. I wasn't going to have a second pot at all but I decided to toss in that 5-way eq switch thingamabob.

A 24 fret neck wouldn't do much good - no way could you reach it. Plus, I already had a neck
