If the Floyd is recessed , the neck angle has to be changed a lot !!
Oh stick this in your fuse box ..... Bon Scott

Wow, the price of that could pay for two years' worth of university tuition fees plus textbooks for me...

I am a fan of Neal and I love Les Pauls and Floyds. I'd sooner have Jackson build me CS all the way before I would drop $7.6K on that puppy. Maybe they will eventually go into standard production.

I am with WX7. Put a set of Sperzel locking tuners on it and make it a stringthru and that would be one crazy mad LP!

I would buy many other LP's before this one. The heel is great! Innovative for a Gibson. Kudos for finally thinking outside of the box.

Re: Holy Cow...Neal Schon Custom Les Paul

Thats a great guitar. There were alot of us fools who paid to get the Ace model, and more fools who paid to get the Perry, Frampton, and Page models. The big questions are: 1. Are there any more fools left to buy it, and 2. When I was foolish enough to get the Ace model, I had a huge foolish grin on my face that was a mile wide. I'd like to know how many miles the grin on the fools face who buys that will be..................

How's about putting up a pic of this neck joint everyone's talking about?

Nice guitar. $7K--no way. For that kind of dough, my new guitar had better be one of a kind.

A Floyd Rose on a Les Paul is just heresy.

Neal played that guitar Monday the 27th during the encore for a Joe Satriani concert in San Francisco. It looks absolutely awesome in person. 7k out the door though ...

I am a fan of Neal's and a fan of LPCustoms with Floyds, but i don't get the price. At that price, you are better off by a beat custom, installing a floyd and a sustainer and having GMW refinish and set it up. That would save at least 5K.

Maybe I am skewed, but I really dont think these are going to fly off the proverbial shelf. If you buy a 7k guitar, you better be ready to keep it a long time if its not a 64 strat.

If I'm not mistaken, Zakk's models sell for a little less than half of the Schon model, & I'm pretty sure Zakk has more exposure in the mags & tv. I could see it selling for $3500.
