The more I think of it, I'd order a JET Earlewood handmade by Jeff with a Floyd, Korina back and neck, ebony fretboard and a 6A Flame Maple Top for around $5K before dumping $7.6K on this Gibson. And again, I am a big Schon Fan and fan of Les Pauls for 39 years. A production model is needed here to drop the price, but then again maybe these won't sell that fast.

Anyone have a Slash model? I know Slash might arguably be tonloads more popular than Schon, and Slash's MSRP for His essential LP Standard with that piezo comes to $6K.
p.s.-HA! i called it, finally, Now i get to see Schon's sig. LP!
Well, I am 50 and not rich! I wouldn't pay those dollars for the guitar I know what you mean there are some collectors with lots of bucks to spend on guitars like this, even if they don't play!

Thread Resurrection!!
Did anybody save those pics of Neal's Gibson prototype? They are no longer available. If anybody saved them, please post or email them to me (address in my profile). Thanks!
Ya know what wouldda been really cool looking on this guitar? The "finger" tailpiece(s) that were on his Jackson/Schon guitars. Now that (as FirebirdV would say) would be "tits"!
