Takamine G-330 Acoustic

A buddy of mine just sent me a G-330 and I'm trying to find out some info on the model. It's built damn near exactly like a Martin HD-28 and from what little info I've obtained, Martin sued Takamine and forced them to change the headstock. This guitar has no serial number nor does it give any indication of when it was built. Any info will be greatly appreciated.

all i know is the g-series are really nice for the money. I believe they are korean made, but other than that i have no info.

I just found out that it was built back in the 1980s. I've cleaned it up, removed the acoustic pickup, and am astonished at the incredible tone this guitar has. It needs a little fine tuning in neck adjustment and it'll be a killer little guitar. Here's a pic, I hope.
