those are killer. i bought one from MARS when they were going out of business. got it for 1300. it was so beautiful i rarely played it. i turned around and sold it for 2000 a year later because i felt i was being wasteful...but man i miss that V.
i bought an import version casue i'd actually play it. i tend to be hard on V's, bashing them into walls on accident...using them as their own stands when playing live...GEAR:
some guitars...WITH STRINGS!!!! most of them have those sticks like on guitar hero....AWESOME!!!!
some amps...they have some glowing bottle like things in them...i think my amps do that modelling thing....COOL, huh?!?!?!
and finally....
i have those little plastic "chips" used to hit the strings...WHOA!!!!Comment

hamer pays a fee to gibson to use their body shapes, i think. but i have seen those as recent models, and they are in the latest catalog.GEAR:

Damn, that is sweet.
I've just always more attracted to the rounder horns on a V. With the pointies, I'm always afraid I'll breath wrong and knock a chip off.Comment

That's why I am getting a Michael Schenker Dean.
Gibson copy V was my first guitar when I was 14 and Scheker was my favorite.
