I just bought a Hamer Sunburst Flat Top yesterday. I have tried unsuccessfully to locate them on the internet. I have found the Arch Top version. Has any one owned or played one of these guitars? Any suggestions/help in finding info on them would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Re: Korean Hamer
Great guitars for under $200 used. Made in the mid to late 90`s, or if it sais "Slammer Series" under the Hamer logo, it is from the early-mid 90`s, same thing, they just droped the "Slamer Series" logo on the latter ones. They still make good Korean Hamers today, but I think they may have just switched it to China. I have owned my share of Korean Hamers, great guitars, but I am now a USA Hamer whore!! Jack.

Re: Korean Hamer
Jack,
No "Slammer Series" any where on the guitar. The only mention of "Slammer Series" is from the tag that came with the guitar. The serial number is 704XXXX on the back of the headstock. Is this a 2004 model made in July?MakeAJazzNoiseHere: You kidding me? I'd suck her fartbox dry in a heartbeat. 9/29/2011 quote about Megan Fox

Re: Korean Hamer
Not sure how the Korean models work with their serial numbers. But on the US models, the 1st digit refers to the year and the remaining digits refer to the number in reference to the number of guitars Hamer made. So #15xxxx would be an '01 and it was the 5x,xxx Hamer made.
