Yeah in other press releases the replacement for the Wolfgang has been called the Corina(sp?). I will say that it doesn't make that much sense to have this HP(with a custom shop option available) and a similar looking Wolfgang replacement. So I would say that this is the Wolfgang replacement. I think it's a nice looking guitar, and I'm excited to see what the custom shop has to offer

After snooping around over at the Peavey and Wolfgang Forum, this is the Wolfgang replacement. I guess at the last minute they decided to change the name. be cool to see what the Custom Shop will have to offer. I have a CS Wolfgang and it's an awesome guitar.

Interesting. Sounds like they are taking the wolfgang neck profile (which is my favorite thing about it) and running with it. I'm going to be curious as to what the price is... because if they think people are going to pay wolfgang prices for those guitars, they are screwed, blued and tatooed.
I don't really like it much, not horrible but I thought it would be a little better than that. I definately prefer the wolfgang to that. Surely they won't ask for Wolfgang proces on these, I don't think many people will pay it either.
Don't like it, the change in the upper horn makes the thing look unbalanced and disfigured to me. I'm sure they could have done something closer to the original.
