How much would a used Fender Mex Strat cost?

I'm not intendind to sell anything here, but I would like to know how much I can sell it for? The frets are not in excellent condition, but it sounds pretty good. It's 4 years old.

well they can be had for 279 new right now from Easton. they're normally 349 new. Ebay is a good guide - I'm guessing you can maybe get 200 for it. what's wrong with the frets?

I just saw a used MIM Strat at a Guitar Center for $249. It looked to be in pretty good shape, minimal fret wear, light pick scratches. I've got a friend with the same dilema. He just bought a Fender 50th Strat and was hoping he could get $400 out of his MIM.

Tims quote is a great # to hover around. 200 sounds perfect.
There are higher and lower end models. The signature MIMs are great. Both the Jimmy Vaughan and the Robert Cray models are VERY nice mexican strats. But as a rule you can pick up a used MIM for about 200.

If it's a 50's, 60's or 70's reissue then it will be worth more just as the "artist" guitars are. 200 to 250 is good for a Mexi standard.

Actually, the frets are alright. Just put new strings there. No major buzz. They're just too small for me after a Jackson. It's black with a maple fretboard. Like 1999 or so.

150-250 depending on condition.
