    USA Custom Guitars

    I'm sure a lot of you have heard about USA Custom Guitars. I've been checking their site every now and then for a couple years. Never ordered anything because I never saw their products in person.

    Anyway, I'm in a music store by my house, and I notice a couple necks hangin' up with that little "nub" on the strat head. (The part you can sand off in 5 min) Those of you who know of them know what I'm talking about. I knew right away where they came from. Of course I have to feel the necks (yes all of them) I was impressed big time! I have a feeling all my next guitars will be from those parts.

    I guess I just wanted to let anyone who's never heard of them to check em' out!

    my only issue about them is that they will not use dual action truss rods. tommy's a VERY nice guy, though.

      The problem I see with him, is he's limiting himself (like many others) to only Fender style shapes. His stuff looks top quality....even better than WD and possibly Warmoth...but still. Offer some more options/body styles/neck styles.

        Tommy kicks ass. I've gotten a bunch of stuff from them. I was fortunate enough to be able to drive over pick stuff up. They do better work than anyone I've dealt with in the parts business. They have a large OEM business - they do necks and bodies for a LOT of other companies that shall remain nameless. They do a lot more than Fender style stuff but that's about all they advertise on the site.
        I want REAL change. I want dead bodies littering the capitol.

          He'll make custom head shapes too. Whatever you want. They are killer. I didn't know about the dual action truss thing. But, the necks still SMOKE! Would he install one if I beg? [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] I like the idea that they only do necks and bodies. It's better to concentrate on one thing, and be good at it! Or do I mean two things?

            I bought several bodies and necks from them in the last few months and although I'm stoked on their bodies their necks leave me a bit uninspired. The warmoth necks have a bit fatter fingerboard and feel more solid (perhaps the dual trustod?) and they just feel "better"

              Scroll about 1/2 way down the page. There is an example of a non-F##### strat by USACG.
