I already have two strat style guitars with floyds and want a explorer type, so it is either this kramer or a goth epi?
i would slap in a set of EMG's in either the kramer or EPI?

it looks great but it is a bolt on (and out of stock)
so perhaps you should go with the Epi -

The GOth EPis are pretty nice. I don't really like painted necks, but the goth ones are a satin finish type, so they don't feel as "sticky". THe quality seems excellent too. I have an Epi les Paul and my only gripe was the pickups. They sounded pretty decent, but really gave alot of feedback even at bedroom levels. I'm currently experimenting with different Pups in it. If you are going with EMG's anyway, I'd say the epi is a well built guitar on which to start.Comment
