I mean, in regards to a Gibson...I like the looks, but from the pictures I just can't tell.

I have one of their explorer models. Is it a 'realistic' looking???? Only $149 worth --just kidding. I've heard good things about the LP's and from the price <$300, you can't go wrong.

Re: agile looks

There have been some reviews on this board in the past. I believe they were all positive, I can't remember a single negative comment. As far as their appearance compared to a Gibson, I think they are pretty close. If I remember correctly, they used to be more accurate. They changed the headstock within the last year.....Probably to avoid a lawsuit!

The best bet on their appearance is to go to the Rondo Music website and decide if the appearance is close enough to suit you.

Re: agile looks

I can't recall, but a number of people here have had Agile Les Pauls. Newc I now recall had one and said good things about it, and he's not hesitant to slam something if it's bad.

Now they've changed the cutaway horn as well as the headstock, so you need to see if you like the look. Considering they sell for half what an Epi LP Std does for similar or better performance, well that's alot of LP for $250, but it ain't gonna be close to a Gibson for that.

Re: agile looks

I've got the 2500H GoldTop 2-hum model (Goldtop was 2-P90s before), and it's a nice player.
It's a more recent one with the "not-Gibson" horn and Epiphonish headstock, but that's fine. IMO if you want something that LOOKS just like a Gibson, get a Gibson, otherwise when someone says "Wow, is that a Les Paul?" you look like an idiot when you say "No, it's a Korean-made copy that LOOKS like a Les Paul".

They sound good, play good, and look good.
