I couldn't find their booth but a friend of mine said the guitars were very nice. He also said there were 2 Japanese guys manning the booth that could barely speak English.
Their booth was in the basement...Hall E...buried in there along with GMP and Moser. They had the Horus, Applehorn's, Dellinger's etc...really nice. I guess the TAT has been discontinued. There was a really nice asian guy there that didn't speak English well and one american guy that spoke. The asian guy was really nice and was really excited to hand guitars over to me to check out. Really nice stuff.
Man I wish they would start to distribute here. I want to buy one but I would want to try one out before I ordered one. There is a guy on Ebay that always lists them saying he can get any one you want.
Anyone try the different models at the booth and have a detailed review? No pics of the booth from anyone?
My friends were trying to ask the Japanese guy when the guitars will be sold in the US and he just smiled and kept nodding. Translation: I have no idea what you're asking me so I'll just smile politely.

Why did they bother to show up at NAMM if they don't distribute in N. America???

If i recall correctly, europe resellers go to Namm too. And Caparison endorses a number of euro shred heads. Maybe, they are targeting those resellers. Or trying to get some N.American resellers to start sell thier guitars.

Wonder why Euro resellers would trudge all the way over here when they've got Musikmesse in their back yard? Oh well, I'm sure there's some logic to it.
It would be cool if you were right about Caparison looking for U.S. distributors--their guitars are very intriguing, and I'd love to try one out. But not enough to pay for shipping from Japan without even a chance to play one in the store!
