If anyone has purchased a GMP from an authorized dealer and had a good experience, can you please post some sort of contact info? I would like to inquire about a custom order and there are no dealers in my state or anywhere else close.

Re: Authorized GMP Dealers
Yep, BCR Music (www.bcrmusic.com) Greg is nice guy. He had a couple of the NAMM GMP's coming his way. I noticed in the GMP NAMM pics that his business card was on quite a few of them.

Re: Authorized GMP Dealers
I'm currently using wildwest for my custom order. I'm in the same boat as you L. There are some cool ones from NAMM but not quite what I want. I really want one of the Pawnshops so I can have a Les Paul looking guitar. I don't know if GMP discounts their NAMM guitars like some other manufactures.
The really cool thing about gmp is that usless you do something out of the norm, they don't upcharge for minor mods ie unfinished necks, knob placement, pu config, etc.

Re: Authorized GMP Dealers
thanks for the replies guys...right now I am just talking to BCR because I initially mailed them about the chckerboard fbird. I am anxious to see how much a custom is. I want something like Witt's bullseye firebird but with a tunomatic or wraparound.

Re: Authorized GMP Dealers
I went through Juniors Music. (http://www.juniorsmusic.com)
I called around to get a price on a custom GMP SG, and his price was seriously less then everybody else. (like by $1,000) In fact, it was somehow cheaper for me to have one custom made (I changed a few specs) than it was to buy one off the rack anywhere else. See what price BCR gives you, and then call Juniors.
