Well guys I will say this, I have seen MUCH UGLIER things that pass for guitars than Dave's "grail" thats for damn sure. It reminds me of a Fernandes to be honest.
You guys point and laugh all you want at Dave, the bottom line is that it is JACKSON'S fault he no longer uses them just like it is JACKSON'S fault that we lost Alexi from Bodom as well.
I will also say that my girlfriend and I saw several kick ass metal shows last year including Iced Earth(Jon kicks major ass), Dimmu Borgir(need I say more), as well as Megadeth.
The crazy thing is Dave actually blew EVERYONE away at his show and that is saying something. Even with a bunch of nobodies playing behind him he outshined every other guitar player I saw live last year. He is that good.
I understand he is grumpy, out of control with his temper and a prima donna to boot but I don't care he kicked major ass and always will. Just my 2 cents on this one.

It just doesn't have a "classic" look about it. Kinda like how Gibson's Flying V and Explorer designs have stood the test of time, but the Moderne didn't. If you know what I'm trying to say.

Weird, headstock looks to say ESP, but that guitar is not an ESP MII, it's a Ltd Deluxe M-1000 (even looks like it says M-1000 on the 12th fret block). The inlays, abalone binding, and control layout are all Ltd M-1000. Come to think of it, that ESP on the headstock looks a bit hacked to me. Like he didn't want it to say Ltd and threw ESP on there.
