I want to order a CS Guitar Les Paul style. I have priced what I want out for both the companies, and the final prices are in the same ballpark. All things being considered which company would you choose. The pros for GMP are 3-6 month wait( I have been told by many that these delivery times are accurate) for the ESP(8-12 month wait) it would probably be my experience with previous products. I'm just curious for a little feedback here. Anyone have a CS ESP or GMP how did it turn out ? How were they to deal with, do they hold their value?

Re: ESP or GMP
i've had a couple of custom made ESPs through my life. those guitars were amazing!! playability was phenomenal, sound was second to none...it's really no wonder that some many "stars" play them. i sold both of mine for EXACTLY what i paid for them. they have "brand name" power.
i know nothing of GMP.GEAR:
some guitars...WITH STRINGS!!!! most of them have those sticks like on guitar hero....AWESOME!!!!
some amps...they have some glowing bottle like things in them...i think my amps do that modelling thing....COOL, huh?!?!?!
and finally....
i have those little plastic "chips" used to hit the strings...WHOA!!!!

No I would NOT go GMP!
CS quality will be the same, say what you like but ESP CS will deliver quality!
At least with the ESP you have MAJOR RESALE VALUE!

I don't agree. For the upcharge you pay for most custom shops I would bet the resale percentage would be very close. Look at some of the Jackson custom shops floating around here.

Re: GMP
I have a little experience GMP vs. ESP Les Paul style, and although both are excellent, I'd have to say GMP has more attention to detail and 'one-off' vibe:
