That was a good question....whether the GMWs of old will appreciate as the vintage Charvels did. I think the answers were good too. Personally, I am pretty sure that they will not appreciate the way Charvel s-heads did and I'm willing to bet that no one here thinks that they could. I think that some of the more unique GMWs will appreciate by the same amount that an old GMW strathead neck will appreciate and that's about it. If those necks remain in high demand, they'll get to about 1/3 to 1/2 the price of a CHarvel SD s-head neck. So loooking at it that way, the complete and original GMW s-head with a work order or other docs might go up in price by a few bucks-- nothing drastic I don't think.
I won't ever sell my s-head GMWs, even if they doubled in value. Too hard to get a hold of anymore.
I can't wait for the new headstocks to be made public. I really believe that they will get rave reviews from a majority of GMW fans. There will always be people who will not like something new. But I think that the designs are unique and still perfect for a strat
