• Used Guitar Websites

I have bought some great guitars from Chrisguitars.com. Do you guys know of any other sites like his with plenty of great used guitars at reasonable prices?

Re: Used Guitar Websites

Its all a classified secret..........Actually I once emailed the guy from Chris's Guitars because I was interested in a few, but he never emailed me back. Oh well, better than JC Guitars. I emailed that guy a few times to buy a guitar that he had up for sale, and he kept emailing me back that I didnt want to buy the guitar because he felt it was a piece of crap and shouldnt be played.....Then why the fruck is it listed for sale?...............

I emailed Chris guitars about a Hamer once too, and I never got a response either. I'd love to do business with him, but for someone who prefers that all transactions "must be handled by email," he makes it pretty damn hard!

I've emailed Chris three or four times, only got a response one time, telling me the guitar was sold. The other items I was interested in were all marked as sold or put on hold several days after I emailed. Items I was seriously interested in buying/trading, too. :^(

I emailed him the other day about an effect pedal, no response.

He must have some spam problems, and probably deletes our emails with the trash!

I am a VERY good friend of Chris and he lives close to me. I know he is terrible at at returning Emails but he is a great guy to deal with. His phone number is on the front page of his site and that is probably your best bet. He was only one guy and now has an assistant but he is constantly swamped. If there is any way I can help just PM me or my Email is in my profile. Again I apologize for Chris as does he about twice a week on his sight.

I have dealt with Chris on several occassions. All positive. He sucks on responding to emails UNLESS you have something he is interested in!! lol...
I wouldn't hesitate to do business with him. Calling him is the best way to do it.

Re: Used Guitar Websites

i've dealt with both chris and jcguitars once.
they were both good to deal with.
jc's prices are a bit high in my opinion, but he also does give a decent trade in price.

If you want to buy something from Chris you should call him to reserve it. I have never had a problem going through the phone. He gets tons of emails so you have to be patient. His prices are very fair and his trade in policy is fair too.

I agree and like Chris, and email is free. Show you're serious and pick up the phone for a long distance call.

Pay no attention to Ray, JG or Brett. You guys keep emailing him, especially if it is about a guitar I want.

I'd still like to know what is up with JC.
Me: "I'd like to buy this one."
JC: "No you dont, it sucks."
Me: "No really I want to buy it."
JC: "No really, you wouldnt like it."

I've found that Elderly is really good to deal with, but they charge alot for shipping. But, they dont tell you the guitar you want to buy sucks, and they ship it out right away...........
