tommy....i was actually thinking about putting a Classic 57 in my mahogany strat....it is an oiled body with a rosewood neck. I figured it would give it a great warm PAF sound.

I usually use Duncan 59s in everything, but I am trying to test the waters with other brands and configurations.

Another thing...I have ordered about 20 guitars from Lee and never got a color named after me....Toru has 2....Toru Blue and Toru Red. Go figure.

Nice Toru Blue. Congrats! ATC, Also my favorite is the '57 Classic with the covers on. It's my baseline industry standard, especially on a mahogany body.

I love that color and wish I would have grabbed it when it was up a while ago. I think i could have gotten over the recessed trem and scooped heel. Would make a nice match for this one.
