Here is a Wayne Charvel strat that I recently made a deal for. The body is oiled mahogany.
This guitar has been on my mind for a while. For some reason it stickes me as a really comfortable player. Kinda like an old friend type of strat.
I will be getting the guitar next Friday...so we will see then.
The pickups are EMG 81 in the bridge and an H in the neck. That is a single coil pickup in a humbucker casing. I never heard of that....but that should be interesting.
I may do the usual and convert it to brass hardware and Duncans...but I want to feel and hear it first.
I truly hope it is what I think it will be.....It really has been on my mind alot...so I finally pulled the trigger on it.
Could not wait to get to share the photos with you guys...will post more when i take some of my own
