In order to keep up with Tom I had to go find me another GMP
I was told this by the seller this was a beater with cracked binding and some really bad dings. It was priced right so I said "what the hell" and bought it.
Well the seller was wrong. This thing is in great shape !! The binding cracks (2) are just some clear coat that popped off at the nut and 3rd fret. It has one good ding on the back edge and a few surface scratches here and there. I'm waaay happy with it. Also I now have all 3 different GMP neck profiles so I can choose one for a custom order
One other thing. It came with a WRC HERC pickup in the bridge. They claim to be a very EMG soundimg pick with all the traits of a passive pick up. They sell for $189, yikes. I have used for about an hour and I really like it. Lots of power, no mud and pretty good cleans with it. That is my 2 cents.
Specs:
Mahogany body and neck
ebony board
abalone inlays
11/16th nut
Duncan 59 neck
WRC HERC bridge
Custom graphic, was made for some dude in a band I have never heard of before according to GMP.
I think I'm the third or forth owner.
