What a fantastic guitar this one turned out to be. It's really well matched to my Clark '59 Bandmaster tweed amp. Bring the amp to the point of slightly breaking up and the guitar really shines. The vol knob cleans it up quite well when rolled back a bit. Alot of versatility for a one p/u guitar. The finish, frets and neck on this one seem to be a bit better than my 2003 R8.

Closer to a real hot single coil (P90's are single coils with more winding and an alnico mag)
I love single PU guitars for the simplistic look, but I'm also not a big P-90 fan. They "honk" way too much for me. Sweet LP though!...nice score ya got yourself there!
