• Speaking of rare Samicks...

    Anybody seen this one before?

Yeah, I know it's a Zemaitis knock-off. But the shell is cut by machine instead of by hand, so it's a lot more perfect looking than a real Z.

    Pic of a real Zemaitis:

The Samick has 24 frets like a lot of the Z's (not the one I'm showing you here, though), which is fairly rare on an LP-type guitar. From the name of the file, I'm guessing it was called an "LP750," but I dunno.

I also don't know where I got this pic from, but I'm pretty sure the guitar was for sale at the time (my file date is June 3, 2001), and I don't think it was that expensive, either. Man, I should'a jumped.
please don't put it into words, 'cause I fear what you're thinking

How much is one of those worth? What's a fair price to pay? I think I know where I can find one of those.

Real Zemaitis guitars went for tens of thousands of dollars even before the guy who made them died. The Samick, I can't remember.

Wow. Cool kinda but too much for me.

            +1 on the Prince reference!

Not my style, although I do appreciate the workmanship.
