My GMW has arrived

Got the call from Lee on Wednesday for a Friday delivery. When I got to work this morning our UPS driver was unloading a guitar box out of his truck. Great way to start the day. Here is my completed GMW Flying Tiger. Alder body (very heavy for Alder), single hum (non logo'd Duncan Distortion Trembucker), Floyd, raw bidseye maple neck with 1 3/4" nut and an R4 clamp. Plays wonderful. Very vocal and lots of resonance. This guitar is solid. The graphic is awesome. Very detailed with lots of little shadings and grease marks and such. Dan Lawrence is amazing. I'm really pleased with how this guitar went from concept to reality. GMW did a great job with this guitar. Thought I would share some pics you. Enjoy!

Is that one of their "standard" 3A grade birdseye necks, or did you pay extra (above the normal upcharge) for a higher grade?

Wow. Great graphics. Nice choice on the 1 3/4 neck -- it's my personal favorite. With the Duncan Distortion in the bridge and an alder body, I'll bet that thing just rips. Nice, very nice!
