  • Identifying An Old MIJ Fender

My little sister has this 1 hum strat, the body is black and the neck is finished to match. The headstock says "Fender Stratocaster Made In Japan", and other than that is no other identifying details as to model, ect. It has chrome hardware, a single locking Floyd Rose licensed trem, a kahler style lock after the nut, and no pickguard. Anyone seen something like this before? Pics should hopefully be up tonight.

Sounds like a Contemporary Strat. Go to this site, http://strat-central.com/ , and click Japanese on the left side. You will see the 8th guitar down looks like the one you described.
