I bought this Les Paul Standard last week and here are the required pics. 60's neck, Burstbucker V's, ebony finish. This one plays really nice and sounds huge. The BB pu's are sweet.

Re: Pics of my new Les Paul
you suck jimmy. did you steal it for a sweetheart price?
"for the love of jimmy,
you would lie to your mother.
for the love of jimmy,
you would steal from your own brother.
for the love of jimmy,
people can't even walk the streets,
the uni-ball calls the shots on who puffs on his meat,
for that mean , mean , mean mean, jimmy-B"
sorry , lost my head. Not helping the situation since 1965!

I didn't steal it, in my opinion, but I really wanted it. The neck sealed the deal for me - it's just righteous. I paid $2000 CDN or $1650 USD.
I like the part about my meat being puffed on. lol.Tarbaby Fraser.

Re: Pics of my new Les Paul
Very cool!! I also thought the BB Pro pups were pretty nice in my Studio, but I prefer a little more output and put in EMGs.
How thin is the '60s neck, BTW? I really dig the thicker, rounded '59 profile on my Studio, not sure I've ever played a '60s slim taper profile before.I feel my soul go cold... only the dead are smiling.

Joejam, the 60's neck is just a bit thinner than the '59 on a Studio. If you've ever played an SG, it's basically the same neck - fast and righteous.
I like the way it feels better than the thicker neck only because I tend to strangle the neck when I'm playing. Less fatigue and cramping.Tarbaby Fraser.

Cool. I'll have to get to a store and check out an SG soon since I've never actually played one of those. I actually find thicker necks usually bring less fatigue and cramping.I feel my soul go cold... only the dead are smiling.

Nice LP man, that thing will sound sweet through a Marshall. I had one of those expensive Zakk Les Paul's for awhile but I could not keep that sumbitch in tune for nothing. Too many years with Floyd equipped fiddles I guess.
