I think the no-inlays works pretty well on this particular KS, too [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]
The standards with bound ebony fretboards wouldn't look quite right without sharkies.

By the way Ron, how's the upper upper fret access on that V? The board looks like it extends pretty far into the body but can you still use up to 27?

My first guitar with no inlays was an SL2. All black. Looked great.

Then I got a PC1 which has no inlays. I just ordered a custom with no inlays. I think they look great.

I love the no inlay look myself, especially with a nice, dark ebony board. I'm usually a side dot user though, so the lack of inlays doesn't bother me.
