Fernandes Question to you HxC Kids/guys out there

What exactly models of Vertigo's do Scottie and Chris of Norma Jean use? I know they have a yellow/pearloid guard , and they used to have a silver sparkle, which was stolen before the recording of their new album (fucking killer record).

anyone know? I can;t find info on that yellow Vertigo, at all. Dual Hum, tune-o-matic, it looks like, vol, 3-way, tone...but i'm in love with that axe.

well, i think the yellow one, is really orange and the lighting in their pics throw me off, but thats a Fernandes Vertigo Standard...but the silver one i have no idea.

man, i wish i could find one of those, there's something about it that makes me GAS.

When I saw them, Chris played a Monterey (the les paul looking one) like Keith Barney does, the one that Scottie was playing looked like an older Vertigo (H-80 maybe??). I don't know if I've seen the silver one you're talking about.

Ah i see. Yeah, the silver one was stolen from them before they started recording their new record, with a trailer full of gear.

Yeah, i think Chris is using a new Vertigo, but Scottie's Vertigo looks sweet, as weird as it is to see ina hardcore band.

yeah, i've seen Chris' Monterey, it Does look like the same Model Keith plays.

My buddy Ken in Eighteen Visions is using the Vertigo now as well, switching from the Les Paul Custom he was using when he first switched to guitar. I guess they've got a bigger deal with Fernandes now. His has a flame top...if you check out Fernandes' website there's a photo of him playing it.

Yeah dude, i think Keith used to use a LPC, before picking up the Monterey.

weird, how i never really cared for the Vertigo until i saw Scottie's...

Whoa, i really must be out of the loop with Visions, they have two guitarists now? I thought they just used Keith, and Keith did double shift with Throwdown, with Tommy?

Originally up til Vanity was released, Branden Schiepatti (now singing for Bleeding Through) was the second guitarist in Eighteen Visions. He split to do Bleeding Through full time, for a while Keith was the only guitarist and Ken was still on drums, but after they released Obsession, Ken switched over to guitar, and they got a new drummer, then another one (Trever, nice guy).

Back to the Vertigo, I checked out the ad in that old mag, and it was the same as the orange one. So I think the one you want is the older H80...they made that one, then one with uncovered humbuckers and a Floyd.

I've been looking for one of these guitars forever! I can't seem to find a used one anywhere. [img]/images/graemlins/scratchhead.gif[/img] They were made in/around '96, and production stopped soon after. If ANYONE has any clue where I could get one or if anyone has one willing to sell, PM me. ebay used to be loaded with them a couple years ago..haven't looked at Fernandes in awhile. Music Go rounds used gear may eventually have something pop up.
