So I bought a couple Kramers

Well I lost out on my Star Yesterday on Ebay since I was busy watching my Huskies lose, so I went Pawn shopping after work and picked these up for $250 out the door

1. Striker st100- 1 Pick ip, and a Floyd. Sounds good after a set up, neck is in between a jackson thin profile and a round Charvel profile, Serial # S A3197

2. Focus 6000- 1 Hum 2 singles, gold Floyd. I got to figure out what the damn switchs do, but it's on par with a Model 3, Neck is a little weird for me, I may pull this one apart for the gold floyd

Now I'm headed off to the Kramer Forum to figure out exatley what I bought. [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

Striker looks good, how do you like it? did you pay much for it? there's one around where i live, serial SF-low number, i forgot which, was thinking about picking it up.

You might want to pull the craptacular original single-locking Floyd II on that Striker! [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] I have a 600ST with one of those... I put a real Floyd on it and was happy for a long time. [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

Can you just insert the ball ends of the strings into the barrell without cutting them off? That's what it looks like to me in the pic. I thought all those cheap ST Kramers had them. Should be a plywood body, too, but I may be wrong.

Yeah, I liked my plywood 600ST a lot, too. It was killer sounding when I put in a real Floyd and DiMarzio X2N.

Nice! I have a Pacer Custom-I mutt with almost the same layout as your F-6000, with an additional coil-split switch for the hum. I also have a later F-6000 body, but its control layout is different(One volume, two tone, five-way switch and a coil split). The switches on your guitar are on-off switches for each pickup. I don't really care for that layout, so I'm thinking of routing my Pacer for a five-way and filling the mini-switches, or maybe fill the middle single coil and go with a three-way toggle to switch between the pups. Great score, you can't beat $250 for both of those! [img]/images/graemlins/toast.gif[/img]
