Re: The Jester!!!!!!!!

Hey Dave many thanks, you know what being a custom guitar maker here in the UK kinda sucks its ups and downs all the time but to be honest I love what I do and thats what keeps me going. I have seriously thought about relocating to the US as lumber, parts etc are a fraction of what we pay here. For instance 1 chrome Floyd Rose without a locking nut would cost £180-190 which equates to wait for it a whopping $370!!!!! and the wood merchants are reasonable and I do get to hand pick all of my timber or I simply don't buy. Maybe its time to come over anybody need a skilled Luthier??

I would love to order one from you Kammo1 but the transfer from dollars to pounds is just crazy. I think its the us dollar is crap compared to the pound right now.

Dude that's amazing! You have a gift there that's for sure. There are some players who can build amazing instruments and then there are guys (like me) who shudder at the thought of intonating after restringing.

Love the 12th fret inlay too. It would have been more striking if it was the only inlay on the neck I think.

very cool guitar Kammo1..a killer shredder for sure

don't want to be the bearer of bad news but i believe Thorn guitars already has the fire sun inlays patented or trademarked or whatever legal thing it called for his guitars.. he's been doing them for acouple of years

                          Re: The Jester!!!!!!!!

Wow that does look the same as mine but I do have some differences whereas the circle in the middle is separated by the sun flares and also the sun flares are different as they have an extra flare joining it at the base also mine is a Gothic sun or Mexican sun whichever I decide to use but its a sun at the end of the day, just goes to show great minds think alike. Although they look the same they are different,I only intend to use mine at the 12th only not like Ron's where they are all over the fretboard. Thanks for pointing this out I have never seen that site and wow he does make some gorgeous guitars truly beautiful works of art. Kammo1
