Re: Hamer K.K. Downing model

Oh, hey - I just noticed!!! The Sceptre V's have Floyds. I have a Kahler. Wonder if that is a clue in any way... (I'm happier with Kahler's anyhoo..)
Where the heck are we going and what's this hand-basket thing we're riding in?????

The mat is called a "FretRest" and I first saw it at Stewart-McDonald for like $30 or $35. The n I got mine at Musician's Friend for $22. I don't know what they go for now, but it's invaluable, especially for when you're working on electronics. Rolls up into a tube as well.

Priest is it for me. If I had a KK model and a Phantom GT I'd be done... for a little while

Yes, Sir! Actually, as MountainDog would tell ya, I have tons of irons in the fire... I've been a Jackson fan since I bought his '86 purple-tiger-stripe RR, but have become a department manager (2 depts) [oh yeah, management? - DON'T DO IT!!!!]. But I have a lot of that to do - I've acquired the ten-string Warrior, David-Michael Phillips' King Kobra Dean V, a Roswell, and others over the years (YES, I'm a Pointy-guitar man!!!). You guys will get to see them here and there over time, and I'll probably stick it all up over at collectguitars.com eventually.
But sadly, I didn't know there was a Hamer forum. I'll go find it and try to stir things up...although you know them Hamer guys actually LIKE their ROUND guitars...so we'll see!!! Oh and I keep forgetting, isn't Glenn's trademark Hamer an INVERTED Sceptre??? I'm a huge KK guy as Seventh knows now, but I didn't pay as close attention to Glenn. And what is that he has now????? It looks like an inverted WARRIOR body!!!!!!! In goth black. If it is, my call-sign says I gotta get one!!!!!!!!

Posted on www.hamerfanclub.com. I didn't see a board on the Hamer site. Let me know if there's another...
