Re: Yet another update on the kids Ibanez

Hey Tim,

I'm just curious here... what did you do with the guitar during the show?
You just brought it in with you for the soundcheck and meet-n-greet thing, then took it back to your car or what?
I've always wondered how folks get their guitars in to shows for their fav guitarist to sign. Especially when security is so tight about bringing in ANYTHING other than an I.D.

Well, I'm sure it won't be as soon as your next pointless post

That guitar is VERY cool Tim. What a great idea. When the kids are older, they will appreciate it even more than they do now. I wish me and my dad did one of these. RIP brotherman...

I just brought the guitar back out to the car during the show. They didn't give me any grief.

What an amazing experience. I was waiting for the EVO experience in Minneapolis-St.Paul to go on sale, then suddenly, it was available (apparently - I never saw it) and sold out.
You even got to play EVO?!? Wow!!!!!!!! How did it play? Amazing action, I suppose. No finish on the back of the neck? How did the trem feel? I think Steve has 2 of those backstops (like a Tremsetter) on there, doesn't he?

That's way too cool.
I'm curios about the EVO too, how did it play?

EVO played great. Action was not too high, not too low. He uses 9's on EVO. That's an ice machine in the background.

Trem felt fine. I couldn't see what was in the trem cavity - it was taped and velcro'd like nuts. He uses an Ibanez tremsetter like thing - it works different though - it was stiff at the center point like a Tremsetter - this was much smoother.
