If thes eprices are correct,then I think I want to go that rout than the Delonge model.

Delonge models were never made in U.S.
The Fender version is MIM and Squire.. no idea. China?

Alex, Yea! this is going to replace my GMW.
I am not expecting this to be the best but at least something to play with.
Daphne Blue is bit darker than Toru Blue.
I like the pearloid pickguard so it will make the guitar to look lighter too.

I asked Lee to make it bit lighter than these Daphne Blue.
That ended up as Toru Blue.

I had one for a while, I gave it a whole new pickup configuration.

It was a great guitar, alot nicer quality than the standard MIM strats. I really liked the neck, I think it was a 70's profile, becuase it was that 70's D shape and it had the great big CBS headstock.

It was a great guitar. The only thing wrong with it was that it had "Tom Delonge" on the neckplate, which always bothered me, since im not a Blink 182 fanboy.

I sold it recently, only because I really dont care for hardtail and I would rather have something more Maideny of a strat, like with a maple fretboard, H-S-H and a Floyd.

Yeah, and it did have the standard mexican S-S-H route. Although the neck pickup was ALMOST big enough for a humbucker, it really wasnt. Very strange.

Sounds cool!
So I guess I should give a try and if I don't like the neck, then swap with a new neck.
I would probably flip the neck plate so it will be blank.

I saw the pickup rout and yea, it is bit smaller for a hum.
So maybe a mini hum would be cool like Paul Gilbert used to have.
I always liked that sound and it sounded great with my Jackson I used to have(Joe Holmes) too.

Yea! I have many choices as long as I have money for these extra pickguards and pickups..

Those were the current prices posted on http://www.warmoth.com and http://www.roxyguitarfinish.com. I've dealt with both companies many times and both are great - particularly Roxy.
