Thanks for the back pic! Very nice slab o' wood, there. I see what you mean about the heel. It looks sort of tacked on, since the heel is rounded but the neck isn't carved away.

I was worried based on the way the heel looks, but it became a total non-issue after I played one. It doesn't feel all that different from any other traditional bolt-on--a little smoother, actually, because of the way it's rounded off.

Rios. My first experience with them. They're direct mounted (notice that there aren't any screws on the sides of the pickup rings), and sound damn good.

Huh,..so the pickup rings are kinda there just for show? Are all McNaught's like this? I'd need the bridge pickup ring on there for my pinky to rest on or I'd get lost!
