Sweet. Thats gonna be nice Tim with that GMW neck. I'd lke to see how it would look with a white or even pearloid pickguard tho

Nice Tim. Now you can try out a sustainer on your own terms!

I know you will, but post pics when it's done.

anagre is a so-called exotic tone wood. I don't know much about it but I just decided to give it a shot.

it's just on the edge of the spring cavity - I'm sure it's because they had to do additional routing for me other than what was done during the original routing when the body was first made.

I've seen some killer zebra wood customs over the years. That's going to be a nice one!

Oh man! That's nice!

I love heavily streaked and figured woods!

Cool looking project Tim. Are you going to do it clear top, painted back?

I was thinking I'd just get some Krylon and paint it Dweezil green since I didn't get in on the custom run.

Actually, I'm just going to do an oil finish - TruOil, linseed, or tung - I haven't decided which.

shame to have to cover it with a pickguard.
looking forward to seeing finished pics. congrats!

Cool project!
Could you tell a little more about the sustainer system.
Are the sustainer located at the neck position, and do you use it with another pickup or only by itself? I thought they were single coils size, but the pickguard have a hole for humbucker at the neck.
Also, do you need extra space for the electronics for this system?
I haven´t found a guitar that I really like with a sustainer system, so I have been thinking about a Warmoth project too, therefor the questions.
Thanks
