  • GMW Eye Candy

Picked this one up used/mint from a collector. Better pics/review to follow...specs. are one-piece alder body, quilt top, Jackson ivoroid binding, 21 fret neck {SD profile} with #6100 wire, Duncan Distortion/"59" pickups, N.O.S. Charvel brass vol. knob, strap buttons, string tree, vintage trem., square input, & metal control covers. Finish is Charvel Blueburst w/amber stain. The amber mixed with the blue, so it's quite a unique color, not as green as it photographed.

Nice score - the same collector passed the details to me as well, but I guess I'm a floyd guy!

                              Re: GMW Eye Candy

At first I wasn't crazy about the green, but it's got a very cool transition from the blue sides, reaching into the amber top, resulting in some real cool shades into the green. These pics show the blue/green a little better. Group shots? Well, unlike the old days where I stockpiled/collected, these days I'm more inclined to keep a select few, and move out "non-keepers" fairly quickly, preferably by trading. About 5 years ago, I had over 175 guitars, very wide range of stuff. Lots of old Dano's, and some very unique one's too including a Mouradian, a Veleno, PRS Dragon II, 60 L.P. Custom, 60 Esquire, a mint 65 Strat, but they were mostly turned into other motivations. I'll have to get a group shot of the dozen guitars I now have.
