A very reputable GMP dealer posted on the Hamer forum that GMP is shutting down. They're selling off the remaining inventory and that is it. I wonder what happend?

That's a real shame if it is the case. I played Tracy's GMP V at the start of the week and it had an amazing neck: the action was a little too low for even my tastes but it still didn't buzz, which you don't encounter too often...Popular is not the same as good

Maybe that's why?
Perhaps JCMI is hiring the whole bunch to build for them?
Put the "old guys" doing the Customs alongside Shannon, Eldred, Pablo, and Kotzen, and the "new guys" doing the USA Selects?
Maybe put the GMP guys doing Charvels in the Fender side?I want to depart this world the same way I arrived; screaming and covered in someone else's blood

To be honest I have no idea wat is going on. I have been told three different "stories" by three different people at GMP.
Everything from we are selling all the stuff to the walls and need to be out of the building in two weeks, to we are just rethinking our business model before we start back up.Comment

Hopefully...that's the case. I lusted after a GMP Explorer I got to play, and one would've become part of my collection when I start to rebuild it. Reorganize, and start back up again.Comment
