Warlocks were meant to have the reverse inline headstock. End of story.
I'm still pissed that I passed on an '80s USA Warlock in a silver/black zebra pattern that was sitting in a local store collecting dust for several years back in the late '90s--they were asking less than $300 for it, I believe. Probably didn't think it would sell, since it had a Kahler. And since it was there for a long time, I guess they were right. A more knowledgeable store here ended up getting ahold of it, cleaned it up and sold it for at least $900. When I saw that, it felt like I had walked by a huge wad of cash just laying on the sidewalk...
I freaking love Venomboys Widow it just fits the look. I personally hated Rich's always until my Wife started falling in love with the shapes and I have really warmed up to the shapes
I keep the bible in a pool of blood
So that none of its lies can affect me

That would be Matt at Action that sold it. That was a damn nice guitar...
Division - American Metal that doesn't suck. Much. Even on Facebook.
I love a couple of BC headstocks. But with their (respective) models. the 3 + 3 traditional on a Mockingbird or Bich (tips my hat to Neal on this one )
Reverse straight pointy (harpoon) on an Ironbird...and Firebird-style HS on a Warlock or Stealth. I hate the Beast personally also. There was also a very short-lived headstock that was similar to the Firebird version, but had more points on it. I think the Warlock was actually designed with that headstock.
im also not a big fan of the widow headstock unless its on a widow. not a fan of alot of the more recent shapes. i do like the firebirdish , 3on3 & small pointy headstock.
The Bc St straight 6 type headstocks rock,as soon a i saw Macalpine playing his green crackled St when he 1st came on the scene i knew at some stage i would have to own one.I have an old custom model thats built realy well-heavy guitar with fat neck and great tone-and a great headstock

The first Warlock had the 3 on a side traditional headstock. I'm afraid I'm not personally fond of any of the other BCR headstocks. However, the Ironbird would look weird with the traditional headstock as well as the Stealth, so I'll bow to those.
I hate when they build a Bich with a 6 in line headstock. The Bich was designed with the traditional headstock and I think it looks cheap with the inline pointy one. JMHO
Ok, let me tell you a story about widow headstocks:
The other guitarist from one of my bands (Devastator, link in sig.) uses a Warlock 7-string with the Widow headstock.
At our last gig I repeatedly smashed my head into the headstock while headbanging (stage was very small).
The second time I did this I cut my eyebrow and suddenly had sprinkles of blood all over my guitars neck and fretboard.
Luckily we are playing death metal, so I proceeded smearing blood from the wound all over my face for the rest of the gig.
After the gig we found out that a little piece of wood broke off from the headstock where my head hit it.
Talk about a hard skull...
And yes, since then I hate widow headstocks with a passion.
I love pointy headstocks, including the Widow headstock. I've seen a few Bich's with Widow headstocks that I think look great. I don't care much for the Bich with a 6 inline headstock. I saw an early ST3 with a Ironbird-like headstock that looked pretty cool.

Thanks for the clarification Neal...I remember seeing a Warlock with the traditional HS, but didn't realize it was designed like that. I've always liked that pointy Firebird style HS, and remember seeing it on a lot of Warlocks back in the old days!
